Butterfly Dreams

They provide opportunities for girls, women, boys and men with significant intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to participate in yearly activities and an annual pageant in Missouri and Illinois. 

 

Family Forward

Their mission is to build healthy safe relationships for children and their families by offering trauma assessment, psychological evaluation, therapy, coaching and education for parents and caregivers, and residential and respite care for non-ambulatory children.

Gateway Tykes on Trykes

They provide information and financial support for children with special needs to help them receive an adapted tricycle. 

KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now):

They provide FREE athletic programs for children with physical or developmental disabilities.

Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation

They provide support to the families of heart warriors and help raise awareness of congenital heart disease.

Paraquad

Their mission is to help individuals with disabilities increase their independence through choice and opportunity.  They offer a number of programs and services and also a referral service to ensure that individuals receive the information and support they need. 

Recreational Council of Greater Saint Louis: 

They work to ensure that individuals with disabilities are aware of and have access to play and leisure activities and programs. 

Special Education Foundation

The Foundation provides support and assistance to students who receive services from the Special School District of St. Louis County. Support areas include scholarships, summer camps, arts in the classroom, hearing aids, eyeglasses, assistive equipment, a high school leadership program, teacher mini-grants for innovative classroom programs, parent support, Special Olympics and student recognition. 

Special School District

They provide resources, educational opportunities and equipment checkout (including adapted toys) for the families of children receiving SSD services in the St. Louis area. 

St. Louis Arc

They provide support and services to individuals with disabilities and their families, including individualized services, support and advocacy. 

St. Louis HELP

They provide anyone in need access to free home medical equipment thru a recycle and reuse program. 

TASK

They provide athletic and social opportunities for children with special needs in the St. Louis area. 

The Arya Foundation

They help the families of children with disabilities pay for medical supplies and equipment, including (but not limited to) specialized seating, specialized walking aids, shower chairs, electronic communicating aids, specialized beds, and portable ramps. 

Variety, the Children’s Charity

They provide support and financial assistance to children with disabilities and their families in the following areas-equipment, therapy, recreation, education, and transportation.
